Incredibly painful to read so far.
Character is at a point in her journey where she embraces parts of Islam and feels pride / power in that, but still struggles to reconcile with the inequality embedded in the religion and is beginning to question it.
Interesting to see how Somalians call Kenyans demeaning names and “slaves” the same way the Saudis looked at the Somalis.
