I love how easy it is to read but also how full of poeticism it is. It’s very cool how we start off in the present and have only just started to go to the past. The second he was like “I am Odysseus and this is my story” I was like AH HA! There have been so many beautiful lines that I just can’t get enough of.

Okay, this is starting to get interesting! I love the way he writes already and how vivid and animated it makes the story. We just had our first moment of real intrigue: the convict protected Pip and took his guilt. I’m interested to see how that develops…..

This book is very interesting. It’s walking a cultural line I didn’t even know someone could walk. The time line is also all over the place. I’m trying to figure out why this book was written and I’m scared to find out.

It’s so obvious they are in love but they won’t say it. Just kiss. Something needs to happen soon whether it is romantic or betrayal, something needs to happen.

Okay one bed trope. Okay never done it trope. Okay one of them in pain trope.

Very cute. Excited to see how this plays out.

The writing style is enchanting. The passage of time is very smooth and easily done, feels like a movie scene. Achilles and Protroclus’ friendship is so raw and sweet. I think his romantic feelings for Achilles were a bit abrupt but idk. Also they are so young, but I guess in that time they weren’t. It’s cool to see how Protroclus has grown though :)

I totally thought it was from Achilles’ POV. I was surprised. The character intro is very interesting. I also love how they are bringing life to these ancient characters and events. Love Odysseus! Poor Protrocolous!

Can they just kiss already…. Also thank god she’s letting Adam go and do his own thing, boy needs to get himself together. I’m loving Kenji and Juliette’s relationship. They are so cutie. I NEED WARNER TO BREAK DOWN OR HER TO BREAK DOWN AND THEN THEY CAN BE ALL CUTIE AND ILY.

Praise God Adam’s true colors are out and Juliette has come to her senses. Also, don’t know where the Kenji bff state came from but I like it. I love that Kenji is free to speak his mind and state the obvious. Warner is so super obvious about his feelings for Juliette, it’s a little cringy but in a good way. I need Adam to stop being a whiny baby and grow a pair.

Heathcliff is a real messed up devil of a masterpiece. I can’t stand that guy. His lack of anything for anyone but Cathy is INSANE. What a poop head. And I don’t know what to do with Cathy. Some times she is also a ninkapoop, but others she is a nut case. Edgar is a solid dude, I feel bad for him. And Isabella is a naive girl who was taken advantage of, poor baby.

Heathcliff is plotting something. I don’t know what but something. I do not like Cathy, she is so so vain and selfish. I’m very curious to see how the lore turns out and how supernatural stuff works its way into this story….

Really don’t get the Cathy and Healthcliff hype unless there is some epic plot twist coming up. Cathy is so awful at the moment and Healthcliff is unreliable. I don’t know how to feel yet, there is so much left to unfold.

Okay so I KNEW they were mates!!! I can’t believe Nesta sent him away but I’m so glad that she has a tight knit group of girls. Also I am LOVING the tension between Gwyn and Az, just YES. Seeing Gwyn’s competitive side is so gorg. I am going to guess that Briaylnn has bust into Emerie’s house and is kidnapping Nesta. Will see….

Nests is developing so much! Her tension with Cassian is crazy, but I really hope she opens up to her besides physically. He is her person, they are so mates. I hurt for Cassian, he wants all of her. So excited to see how she continues to grow. Gwyn may be my favorite chraracter now. I am her, she is me.

PRAISE GOD SHE FINALLY GOT A GRIP!!! Yes, heck to the nervesness and cowardess, BE A BAD A! Honestly her almost dying is probably the best thing that ever happened to her. I think that Adam won’t even recognize her and will essentially fall out love with her. Also AARON IS SOOOO RHYS CODED. Yes save your boo bear!

SHES JUST A FREAKING HORNY LITTLE GIRL. Aaron put his HEART on the TABLE and GAVE HER A KNIFE and she put to the side only to SNATCH IT UP and STAB HIM WITH IT. UOU WANT THEM BOTH???? SHUT UP

AARON FREAKING KNOWS HOW TO COMFORT HER!!!! Thank the Lord she has someone now that will actually build her up. Hopefully they will impact each other for the better.

I’m so excited to explore Aaron more. He is very misunderstood but very stuck in his ways. He can change, Juliette better make him. If she can only do one thing please let it be that. I just know he’s going to betray them or something though. Gah. I like the christian principles of “you can change and forgive” though!

This writing better get better soon. And what the heck do you mean “That’s my father”? Adam, stop being such a mc, I’m so done with his dram bruh. Also, why is Juliette so flakey? I would rather Katniss who is strong and apathetic than little miss pathetic. I’m sure she is great but she needs to freaking man up.

She is so annoying and pathetic. She needs to toughen up!!! I wish Kenji’s sentiments spoke to her more immediately. If she doesn’t become more confident I am going to bash my head into the wall. And Adam is just so clingy and needs to figure himself out. He’s also just super freaking horny, they both are.

I feel like Adam is the guy she is obsessed with just because she can touch him and he’s decent. He doesn’t comfort her other than with his presence. She is so so broken and he is not doing much to help her out herself back together. Intriguing….

It’s good. Most of it isn’t well written but it’s cute. Feels like fanfiction.

Definitely a bit different from the movie. No best friend, but I love Mercedes at the moment and I also feel bad for Fernand. He’s really just in love with another man’s girl. But that form gives him the right to later plot in Edmond’s demise. I hope we get some romance from Edmond and Mercedes before everything goes down,

I’m dying, they are so cute. This is the perfect clean romance, still butterfly filled but CLEAN. Their chemistry and cute banter is AGHH and I love that the author doesn’t make anything messy. There isn’t miscommunication that lasts long which is a God send!!!!
