Struggled a bit getting used to the new POVs at first, but i think it just made me crave the main leads' interactions more, so every scene they had together felt even more delicious

Phaedra is stronger than me because if i heard the people from the kingdom i fled to for help calling us filthy and ugly in front of me, diplomacy would've ended right there.

Seriously though, the author excels at writing realistic character interactions, and i'm always drawn to every conversation.

I forgot how brilliant the side characters here. Everyone has a purpose, and even those who appear for a couple of pages leave an impression
