This book is intriguing and i want to know what’s going to go down BUT i am so ANNOYED. She’s trying so hard to write a novel in the Covid era but no one needs to know the state of everyone’s masks in every room you walk in?? There is so much detail about stuff that doesn’t MATTER I’m like GET ON WITH IT. this book should be half its size

I need to stop sneak reading this at work but it’s so addicting! I love Chloes character. She’s hilarious and the tension is just so hawt.

I chose this book bc i needed something from kindle unlimited that could distract me from a boring meeting. So I’m not gonna be too hard on myself when i say that the mc needs a major chill pill. She’s met the LI for 2 seconds and she’s going on about him like he’s Jesus or something. Like bitch tone it down and have some dignity. He’s just a MAN.

I’m not sure if I’m going to finish this book. Not even the smut is appealing. The author tries to convince you that the main characters have chemistry but it’s not believable. Super disappointing and a waste of $5.

I did not pick this book for the plot, or the characters, or the fantasy aspect. I did not have expectations for any of these things. I did however expect this book to be smutty and it is failing 60% into the book. Get on with it already!

This is not a book I’m going into expecting anything from, except some smutty scenes. The writing style is not my favorite and I’ve already found myself rolling my eyes more than a few times.

Ugh. This book is basic as hell. Perfect protective chivalrous male lead, gorgeous but damaged female lead. The dialogue is basic. The relationship is basic. Give me something of substance here!!!! Perfect characters are BORING.
