If he were Gilgamesh, and he had a friend like Enkidu, he would never let the ending get so bleak. He'd make sure they both lived, and they'd keep having adventures and fighting monsters together, right up to the very last page.

So rare and so good that I cannot even make sense of it, the same way that nobody can make real sense of God or the reasons why we are alive. this book is full of moments like these that have me really happy that i picked this book up!! it’s just too good
