may or may not be avoiding uni work by reading all these long (-ish) fics woops

i know this is like supposed to be for children but as someone who grew up in a developing country where western/world history wasn’t given much importance, this is (as of now) pretty insightful in building a “when did what occur” historical timeline in my head (yes, i know historical events esp written down isn’t linear but still- helpful)

i keep trying to switch into storygraph but it keeps on crashing, and it only imports like 3 of my most recent reads😌😌

i’ve only read 30 pages of this but seeing the reviews gives me vibes that these 30 pages are gonna be solely it ?? the storytelling is so horribly slow and incessantly long and although im willing to still continue,, i feel like this might just go into the ’not finishing’ -pile

i- still have no idea what in the world is happening but it’s so soso good and intriguing nonetheless

finally finished book two, and i’ve already had a few good cries. honestly might not start the third book for a good while

re-reading again as I just got the physical copies I ordered!

i have been meaning to finish this book today, but i’m not yet ready to part with the characters nor find out how it ends so i’ve been putting it off. i think this is the first story/book i’ve read so far that did not make me check how far i am from the end even once. i just read on and on bc reading it feels like getting to know a new friend or lover you know will hold a huge part in your life from then on.
