Ishan Manchanda is 36% done with The Milkman of St. Gaff's
Amusing and interesting, excellent production quality and sound design - especially for an indie.

Starting to get a little slow because it is character-driven instead of plot-driven. I started and dropped it a few years back at around 25% because of this. As per Reddit, it unfortunately doesn't pick up much until near the end, but the answers are hopefully worth it.

painfully bad formatting on Kindle, probably because there isn't an official ebook version at all.

If anyone's looking to gift me a paperback...

Almost one-shot, just need Hyd-Del flights to be ~20m longer.

The background audio effects are mostly subtle but add a lot. One of the thumping heartbeat sections perfectly coincided with a small but rough patch of turbulence; excellent atmosphere.

So far pretty sensible.

One nit I have is with the repeated use of what can be called the Argument from Ancient Wisdom. It feels like this is more suited to being cherry-on-the-top rhetoric. Seems an odd choice to me to be one of the three defining criteria for a Great Untruth.

I do wonder if I'm just confirming my biases by reading something like this. I've an ear out if anyone has some opposing reads to suggest.

The last few chapters are making it quite hard to put down (or rather, to take out my earphones)
