I've been waiting for soooo long!
Perks of working in a library is you can get 1st pick on the holds list <3
After page one, I am HOOKED.
im so excited for what the book hold AND the implications on how to interpret the 1st book. The prologue is riveting already 😍

It'll take me a long while to chip away at this book.
Thus far, I've read James Baldwin's essay, and, of course, it was brilliant.
It certainly helps inform the perspective and personal and societal conflicts that influence Baldwin's writings as he discusses the same social issues that he explores in his fiction work.
He uses the same prose style as Sonny's Blues and Giovanni's Room.

Pretty long and boring half way through. Cute but uneventful
And what's up with her getting involved with this you lady's catfishing issue..? She's a grown up right?..
