I've decided to cheat by reading a summary on Wikipedia. I found it immensely helpful with my understanding of the story and well...clarifies all the details amidst all the names and interesting lines that distracts me.

So far this is a page turner especially when the author remarked some of the paragraphs were inspired by Bertrand Russell's "Introduction to Mathematical Philosophy". Here's an example of how the relation of the following entries made it to text:

Laudable translation. Words like sang-froid, to heel and smarting are things I've learned in the p141 band. I love collecting words that may be of use later.
