This was fine - a definite page-turner. However, there was a reveal fairly early in the book where I thought "how is this going to end without (something specific) happening?" And, no surprise, that's what happened. So the story is predictable but still compelling. 3.5 stars rounded up.

DNF. I got about 1/2 way through and then just read Matt Taibbi’s recap and moved on. As Mr. Taibbi said “What a crazy story. If only we weren’t really living it.”
