First sitting, 33% of the way in and once again I'm hooked...I have to stop reading for a few hours to get to a gig tonight ...I'm already planning Sunday around The Archers and Charles Holborne

Can't wait to settle into the latest Charles Holborne - 9th entry in what to now has been an excellent read...the next few days will be quiet in my house 😎

Nicely written, not being blinded by science so far...I did put it down so that I could start and finish the McIvaney/Rankin novel though, which tells its own tale I guess...(i.e. It's not "gripped" me yet)

I've given up on this...wasn't bringing me back to the reading nook like a good book should...I

There a good story in there somewhere, maybe to me its lost in translation?

I was drawn to the book, autographed edition found in an Oxfam Bookshop, as I've been a Frank Miller fan for decades now.

There were some challenges for me in reading this ostensibly teen fiction but I think I managed to set reality and paradigms aside to enjoy it enough to be interested in any follow up AND the Netflix series.

Arthur as a brigand/bandit/warrior...Merlin as an alcoholic...challenging

Took a break to read Stephen King's Duma Key...don't know why I've taken so long as it's been on the shelf for years...probably because of the additional time available in Lockdown encourages holding a real book again - impractical at bed time when they're hardback as they make a real mess when dropped, and the lights a nuiscance

Lessons being learned...self awareness is no easy thing
