Absolutely thrilled a favorite series of mine’s latest audio version has been released. The writing is exceptional. Well researched and every one “can’t put it down” page turners (along with the talented Gildart Jackson in his performance) make it an all time favorite series.

Ugh idiot heroines are my least favorite. She’s all over the board without any like able characteristics. Yea, she can calm animals-whatEVER (eye roll). No idea why this guy even likes her unless he’s into crazies. I just can’t.. she better get her “ahh-ha” moment soon or this will be a dnf.

C.W. is starting Under a Dark Moon (Brandon Brothers, #2)
I made the mistake of starting this late yesterday on audible. Since I’m a huge fan of Stella Riley’s books, this made for a late night (and an early morning!). With Riley’s writing and Alex Wyndham’s narration, it makes for an enjoyable listen each and every time.

Lost at sea.. a fascinating survival story that kept my company cleaning house all day. I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the little things and the big things didn’t seem so big for a time.

C.W. is starting West with the Night
A beautifully written first-hand account of an extraordinary woman. Biographies don’t generally appeal to me, but this one stood out for a number of reasons. It’s loaded with richly demonstrated historical details and extremely well-written account of growing up in Africa almost 100 years ago - Hemingway himself attested to the supreme writing ability years ago.

Absolutely stunning. Maggie O’Farrell’s writing style is incomparable (or rather peerless). A beautifully written story that is extraordinary in every way.

This story was recently referred to me, and I’m loving every minute of this epic adventure. Only halfway through, and I’m certain of it’s eventual place in my favorites TBR again and again.

WOW.. nothing at all what I expected and glad I didn’t research it first. Let’s just say I started it last night and couldn’t put it down. I’ll be tired today, but this amazing story will stay with me for a long time to come.

Extremely well-written and entertaining read thus far. The main character reminds me of that one friend without a filter who often gets you thinking “TMI..!”. Love it!

C.W. is starting Into the Wilderness (Wilderness, #1)
After a slow start/build, I’ve been nothing short of impressed with the effort (character & story development, period details etc.). At about halfway through this book, I’m already looking forward to the next.

Weeks ago I got ahold of a copy and forgot about it. With several books in process when it came arrived, it got put aside. Everything about it thus far has been worth the wait. It’s extremely well-written and stands alone with originality.. and hawt!!

Somehow passed this one over and otherwise made it to #18. Lucky me to find this hidden away in my audio library! Last night I stayed up all hours with one eye open listening to Patrick Tull’s performance of another exciting & well-written story
