... For language learners maybe but I don't think this is appropriate for very beginners. It's really tough.

It's insane. Netflix just bought part 1.

It drags on and on.... Nothing happens, no plot at all, I don't care for the MC at all, world building inexistent... I am really about to quit.

At first I didn't know if I'd like Jotaro.
Now I am obsessed. This is my perdition. Nobody around me can get it. Everything is a Jojo reference in my life.
I can't control myself.
I want Jotaro in every single episode.
I don't know if I'd like the next Jojo as much.

Josuke H. meets Jojo. Snif! I've watched that scene one hundred times. So touchy!! *runs to watch it once more*

I look at the cover and I think Josuke won't work for me. But I thought the same about Joseph first and he became my favorite Jojo and then I thought that I couldn't like Jotaro and I was so wrong! I don't know if I will love Josuke or not but at least Jotaro is coming back to my life!

In spite of the scatological humor and being a bit more gory, I am so hooked. Some episodes are filling but mainly each rival faced is harder to win and I am so entertained. Jotaro had an incredible poker match that made me bite my nails and fell in love with his poker blue-eyed face. Kakouin returned and just shaked his hands with him and I almost died with the gentleman gesture. Eventually Dio is around the corner

After Phantom Blood I came into Joseph (Battle Tendency) feeling that he would be much less interesting than his grandfather, Jonathan, a naive righteous man. I was wrong. I enjoyed so much Joseph, even if he is immature, irresponsible and goofy. Now I have come into Jotaro, his Japanese grandson and I feel I have no attachment to him, apart from his huge body! I am still all in for his grandfather though.

I am so happy I ended up buying this one!
I started to learn Japanese a year ago.
This is my second book. Thanks to the English translation, the vocabulary lists and a wonderful audiobook (I had to search for my old CD player haha) I feel closer to my goal than before.
