Everytime i see this book title, BNL pop into my head and sing "Hello Summer.."

Thus far (30% in), the word 'husked' has been used three times, and not once with reference to corn.

Re-read the first 4 or 5 Betsy Taylor, Vampire Queen books, so I can read the rest of the series soon.

This book just randomly ignores part of the set up in the previous book--namely, the updated clothing/arrangement with Madame X/flirtation with the duke at the house party in Scotland. So annoying, I hate it when books make stupid mistakes like that.

times to obsess over your possible painkiller addiction: while escaping from a drug cartel by running through the jungle with a partially healed injury in a walking cast. yeah, you're right, you should just suck it up and deal with the pain.
