I’m just not sure about this. I’m not really enjoying it and I’m not even halfway. Still have the audiobook thru the library for 10 more days so maybe I’ll come back to it?

I’m challenging my mind this morning with a book that opens by encouraging people to read “widely, voraciously, and indiscriminately.”

Karen Swallow Prior references John Milton’s Areopagitica speech of 1644 which challenged the Parliment of England not to censor publishers.

I’ve already used a dictionary, thesaurus, and Wikipedia, and I’m only on the introduction…

Up to Chapter 9 so far.

I feel like I’ve gone back to college for IT, private detective training and a law degree at the same time and it’s pretty scary. It’s been a while since I’ve had to rewind and listen again to make sure I understand what’s happening in a sentence. This audio book is over 24 hours long and I’ll definitely need to borrow again to complete.

Started on audiobook through Overdrive library app but didn't finish before it was due for return. I had just started chapter 14.

Started on the audiobook but within about 15 minutes, having been introduced to only a few characters, I decided this one I can’t handle on audio. Sorry, the narrator just doesn’t agree with me. I’ll have to read this in print version.
