FMC lacks emotional intelligence and any capacity for personal growth… and it’s talked about on basically every other page. World building is somehow complex and underdeveloped at the same time (more thoughts on this later if I can bring myself to finish the book). Overall lack of editing has me feeling like I’m reading the same thing worded a bunch of different ways.

So far so good, it reads like how watching a dubbed movie/tv series feels but I’m not mad at it

Series didn’t start off strong for me anyway at only 3 stars but I was mildly invested, atp I’m just annoyed.

Thoughts at the 69% mark… balance, balance, selfishly selfless, balance, balance, her name is what?, balance balance selflessly selfish, balance, balance, some angels and stuff, balance, balance, blah blah blah. I’m struggling with this one after actually enjoying the first two.
