Love these easy to read books Just a quick comment..at 5% it says Sassy asleep then next page Patrick and Sassy came thru the door…do editors not catch mistakes like this?

Love all the Alan Lee books and all the Roanoke references However, why does he always say “got damn “ I have lived in Roanoke and surrounding areas for my entire life and have never heard it pronounced like this

Her misuse of I and me is driving me crazy

About 90% finished I think she knew about Matt all along She seems to be a good family oriented person but is as intrusive and greedy as paparazzi

Although the story is good ( just getting f started) I find the writing style pompous and too flowery It reads as if the author sat with a thesaurus and tried to replace every word with the biggest word she could find

A little repetitive my biggest issue is the narrator. As a native of Wise County, I notice all of the mispronounced words. The narrator should have learned how to say Richlands, Coeburn, Bowman and many
more. The idea that the Hokie Nation ( I am a Hokie) might have been behind the hired assassins is ridiculous
