Im HOOKED.
This gives me the same feeling as "The Giver". The way Faraday talks about life before and after humans conquered mortality is very similar to how the Giver taught about life when there was color and emotion in the world.
I'm LOVING it!

This is one of the most depressing yet beautifully written books ive ever read.😔

I gave it 1/3 of the book to convince me. I didn't know this was about infidelity until I picked it up to read it, and I just can't. I looked ahead to see if she was still with the boyfriend later in the book, and she is still with him by the 3/4 point, so I'm out.
Also, the writing is subpar, so I'm done with the suffering.

This book is so better than I expected it to be. So much drama, so much treachery. Twisty and turny, everyone has secrets. Im loving it!

I am IN IT. I see why this is so popular. Im more curious how it can be such a long series, though. So far, it feels like a stand-alone.

I didn't read the description of this, so I was entirely surprised to find out what its about, but I'm very intrigued by the mystery so far!

I think this could be half as long if the author had edited out some of the self-doubt and constant internal dialog of questioning every action.
I really enjoyed "The Spell Shop" but I'm wishing I would have DNFd this sooner because now I feel obligated to finish it even though I'm bored to tears.

I hate to not finish a book that was recommended to me by someone as their favorite book but.... wtf is this? Summary sounded appealing, but I can feel my brain cells dying one at a time trying to read this unsettling fever dream of a book.
I need a shower to cleanse the lingering ick this left me feeling.
