This book is a mandatory multi read

The writing style really reminds me of Rachel Cusk, especially with the disconnected female narrator that I feel like appears in Cusk’s work

wishing more examples/stories were threaded throughout this

Sometimes really good, sometimes a little redundant (?)

I was sick of Elena the whole first book and now Lila is driving me crazy

Consistency is key here

I’m really losing momentum here😅😅

Not sure how actually far into this I am but it’s actually attempt 3. Someday I want to make it through this book but it won’t be today, or this summer, regrettably. I’m trying 😭

I am so close to being done with this. FINALLY. and of course just now I'm getting into it.
