Halfway through, it’s well written, but I can’t say that I particularly like any of the characters. They all (like, ALL of them - the sisters, the men, the chaperones, etc.) seem so disingenuous and calculating in the way they view each other and their relationships. I know Tess is supposed to be portrayed as just being practical here, but her behavior is pretty sketchy to me.

So far, this is merely okay. Moving a bit slowly and not as witty as other reviews made it sound. Hartwick’s main attribute as an MMC seems to be horniness, which isn’t a ton to hang a character on, I’m not sure why people seem fond of him at this point.

Meh, I’m not really feeling this one though I enjoyed the previous book in the series. Maybe this just seems too similar.

I’m having a really hard time slogging through the beginning of this book, and it’s my second time trying. The dialogue between Linnet and her family just feels like it’s trying so hard but it’s really repetitive and I’m honestly finding it more manic than witty.

Going ok but it’s not the story I’m in the mood for right now.
