This novel really does just jump right into things. As I sat on the bus an older woman kept side eyeing me. Maybe it was because I was crying. I can already feel it may not have a happy ending. I'll find out soon enough.

This book is becoming more and more depressing as it goes. I really want to finish this, but it is very possible this might become a DNF. Extremely triggering considering it's based on a real-life experience. This is not a true story BUT it is based on actual experiences.

This book definitely should be classified as horror. This is extremely disturbing, which is exactly what the author was going for. This is going to be tough for me to continue reading, but I want to.
