I've just started reading the fourth (and last) book in Kaitlyn Dunnett's Deadly Edits series. I really enjoyed the protagonist, a very active widow in her 70's who solves crimes.

The plot has thickened nicely

As someone who has arthritis in assorted joints, a shoulder here, a knee there, I enjoyed Mikki Lincoln's description of her friend Darlene, who's crippled by arthritis, getting up from the floor. I have to plan my route getting up from the floor after I do my physical therapy exercises.

As a former English teacher myself, I easily identify with the protagonist as she edits her clients' work. I also identify with her and her friends as they meet the challenges of being elderly like the pains of arthritis and the fears of aging eyes.
