A friend recommended this to me because it’s set right here in Utah. Not sure it’s the best book to tandem read with a book on the history of tuberculosis… but hey! Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised at the combo! 😅

After slugging my was through alchemised I had to turn to a book from an author that I knew I would enjoy. I would read John Greens shopping list and find it fascinating. Currently listening to the audiobook and it feels like I’m listening to John and Hanks podcast. I’m already a fan!

Over half way through and here’s my thoughts so far -
1. The voice actor sounds like Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove.
2. I wonder how long it’s going to take Carl to actually find some pants and shoes?
3. A Gilmore Girls AND a Survivor reference? 10/10!
4. Princess Donut is a queen!
5. The Juicer is the worst character so far. So annoying! Haha

This one’s for you Tim! Can’t wait to finally meet Princess Donut!

Back on an Ali kick! Just remind me not to re-read bride and all will be well! 😏

It’s fine. It’s an easy read. Cute enough so far but nothing mind blowing.

Forgot how much I love this book and these characters! Thoroughly enjoying my re-read & can’t wait for the screen adaptation!
