A less entertaining and less self-deprecating Bridget Jones’ Diary

An enjoyable read but I can’t say that I’m connecting to any of the characters

Still mad sometimes. Still doing stupid things. Still sexy times instead of communication. Increased speed to 1.75.

She does something stupid. He gets mad. She does more stupid things. He gets mad. Sprinkle in some sexy times and you’ve got this book.

Listening at 1.5 speed helps add to the urgency and interesting-ness of this book lol.

I still don’t get the appeal. It reads about the same as any other romance novel I’ve ever read.
