I’m finding this to be an arduous read. It’s intelligent and unique in that it’s a literary lesson along with a historical account, however I’m finding the lines are blurred and I’m not quite sure where it’s meandering. It’s also quite heavy-going, so I’ve had to put it down and have a rest a few times. I’m determined to finish it and hope that the narrator’s freedom ensues….
