This is the first book I’ve slowed down to savor in a long, long time. Finding myself quite obsessed.

A brief recap of section 1: OpenAI is a reckless and frankly, ego-driven company, backed by billionaires, with no real sense of direction or clear goal re: AI even though their mission is all about AI "safety" and "transparency." It's truly a reflection of Silicon Valley culture, where people want to be the first to "innovate" with much disregard to the harms of their tech or other, more pressing issues.

Feels a little unrealistic for the time and the writing is a bit cliched, but I'm having fun so far
