Prose is good. À little bit more verbose than it needs to be for what I was looking for, but it paints a nice picture of the people and their lives

Feels slightly out of time /anachronistic for Peter Singer to explain Hegel in terms that would have been foreign to Hegel, like an AI guy using Python snippets to explain punch cards or like moonlanding firmware

Starting to get the sense that this book has a poor compression ratio. Think will start my review: wry, dry, compression ratio too high.

What a great set up. I find Levin and Nikolai’s relationship especially interesting
