I’m glad to see that Araki is focusing more on horror elements. I like how Morioh Cho seems like such a lovely town until you look more into it and see how much of a sinister undertone it has. The villain isn’t some life changing demigod that plans to take over the world, he’s just a silent serial killer that has a particularly disturbing fetish. Really good so far.

I like the new setting and generation. The neighborhood they live in is very cool. I think Araki’s art style keeps getting better and better with each part. Really enjoying it.

The language used is very romantic and the descriptions of the Meji era is beautiful. Not that much happens but the author makes every scene dramatic and captivating.

Very hard to read but really pretty. Seeing how complex the language used in the translation is, just shows how beautiful and complex the Japanese language seems to be. Mishima's descriptions are so detailed it's almost gross but amazing nonetheless. Really cool window into early 20th century Japan.

The art for the villain group is great and all members of the Straw Hat pirates really get a time to shine. This is the first time in One Piece when I’m genuinely clueless to what is going to happen.
