This book was ridiculous. Somewhere between a parody and steamy pulp romance. Incredibly predictable, with all the characters intertwined in some way. Yet I enjoyed it!

I’m obsessed with this book so far. It touches on post-colonialism, pan-africanism, self-determination, African literary history, Nigerian/Igbo history, and revolutionary influences.

Enjoying this so far. Seems they are using CBT techniques to teach effective communication (avoiding mind reading, all or nothing thinking etc.)

I’m enjoying this so far. I’ve found myself in the position of learning to utilize this intervention for others. Helpful to make sure I have the basics down and can turn to the provided resources.

Definitely a fresh view from the medication focused interventions I’ve been exposed to.
