Love this series

I do recommend this book which chronicles a house on the East coast from colonial times to the 1960’s. Alice Hoffman managed to add her special brand of magic thread which weaves its way throughout the Blackbird House history

I saw this work as a well written, 1st hand account of what it was like for one woman about my age , growing up with the Christian Scientist moniker around her neck, long after she opted out of it's clutches. Bravo Lucia Greenhouse.
