Interesting dystopian world set up. Narrator did a bit too much mulling about theoretical politics/social commentary about a quarter of the way through the book but plot has now switched directions and become more fast-paced and relationship based

Before I even picked up this book, I knew the basic plot of the story simply from pop culture and talking with friends and teachers. I found it very odd that I was over 100 pages into the book and all the main character had talked about was his family, his religion, and a zoo. But oddly enough, I really enjoyed the writing. I just kept wanting to read more and more and it actually brought up some interesting thoughts
