I hate the kinda dramatic irony that's like well it's not like the characters are unreasonable for thinking what they're thinking at all however I know how these stories go and it's blindingly obvious that they're making a mistake. only half because it really annoys me, it's also in large part because it makes me feel like a massive curmudgeon
