I have become a fan of her writing. The description of places, smells, tastes, cultures and people come together to create a living, breathing but tacit character of the city of Istanbul. The premise of the brain able to think for upto 10 mins and 38 seconds after death is well used so far. The book does become slow in some places, and does not excite or engage me enough to read more than 3-4 chapters in one go.
