ngl i feel like the mmc's main personality trait is "british" 😬

this book is literally every single one of my fav tropes in one story 😭 friends to lovers! second chance romance! grovelling! angst! and i love that there are actual stakes and barriers to the relationship

i fear this is already my least favourite of emily henry's novels, by a long shot. lotta skim-reading going on atm

do i always love emily henry's books? no. but am i always extremely curious about them? absolutely

ngl so far most of this reads like a textbook but im at least hoping something interesting happens with the characters 🤷‍♀️
