Ugh. I keep screaming in my head that they are too blind to not realize who the villain is. I always do that with mysteries. Even though I know full well that I am often wrong lol but it seems so obvious.

This book is so good. Quite mysterious and complicated with an incredibly intelligent heroine. I am so curious by the little information we are given here and there. Can't wait to hear her whole story.

Her uncle is so suspect. I don't trust a word out of his mouth.

She talks a lot about her broken engagement as though we are supposed to know who her ex fiance is. Does any of you know who this Duke is and if there's a book telling his story?.

Omg, this book feels like interminable!

I really want to read book 4 so I started the series from the beginning. But man, I think I am holding a grudge against the heroine. Gosh I am hating her voice, how childish and foolish her actions are. And now that the hero's sister was introduced, there's a competition of whom I dislike more. Uuuugh.

Can she please stop seeing everything with a war mind? I am getting tired of her thinking about the hero only as an enemy.

I am not sure I am liking how forward of the time the heroine is but I sure am having lots of laughs.

Now, here's a pair that is worth reading. The heroine is simply amazing. I love seeing the ones that can survive on her own smartness. (Not always smart, but well)

I don't have a good feeling about uncle Edward. I hope he's truly simply helping our hero through life.

I seriously don't understand why a heroine would lie about her virginity. About being one I can understand. But about not being one? Boggles my mind.

I am kinda lost and don't know what to read this past week but today I started this one and I think I am losing my taste for enemies to lovers trope. I mean, it is nice and satisfying when they finally be together but all the fight is annoying. I just want to get past that part.

Well, I am glad to say that I started this series in the second book, had I started with this one I am not sure I would have continued reading it... in my mind it sounds so absurd that you would allow someone you NEVER saw in your life to take liberties with your person without the least bit of persuasion and restraint, being u innocent or not. And I hate revenge plots that only hurt the undeserving.

I don't understand why they accepted his aunt's wishes and excuses for them to go to London. They should have stayed where they were to get to know each other better a little longer and to work on the mystery and not so far away from everything. Most suspicious this aunt of his.

In every mystery book we have our own suspects and some authors really knows how to make a twist and finalize a book with someone you haven't even considered. I hope this author is one of them, because I have two suspects in mind and I hope the story is better than that, otherwise the family is full with idiots for not considering them... fingers crossed.

What rotten luck! I am getting anxious.
