I feel like I am tediously walking the salt path right along with them. I was hooked for the first half but now I can barely get though two pages at a time🫠

i am TRUDGING through this re-read. as much as i love love love this book, it’s unbearably sad the second time around. it’ll need to be a few years before i pick it up again.

i simply do not understand how this kid’s parents aren’t stopping him from turning into a white supremacist. very difficult read so far.
