DNF at about 50%. This style of writing is just not for me. Feels like it needs editing and it’s too repetitive as if I didn’t catch what was going on

I do love books about books and the concept of the railway library to remote mining camps was very interesting.

But man the multiple timelines were clunky and this was SOOOO heavy handed with the author’s opinion. Way too preachy

Humph. Yet another DNF for me. I'm struggling to find books I want to finish. Made it 30% and just not invested in what is going on.

Loved the first portion of Victoria’s ascension to queen. Now I’m halfway through and bogged down in the political machinations. Might give up 🙈

I love this book so far but the use of *bolded words* on almost *every page* is making me *crazy*

“could he feel [her pulse] pounding? Like McConaghy on a pair of bongos?”

At this point my eyes may have rolled into the back of my skull 🙄🙄

Set the cringeometer to 10 to get through this one. Some of this dialogue made me want to chick my phone across the room. And super super spicy open door content.

Nearly lost me on page 7 when the author says, “Did Yo-Yo Ma tire of his violin?” 🙄🙄🙄

Audio. Exciting, moving, post-apocalyptic story. Couldn’t put it down. Great twists and turns.

Audio. I loved this clean romance based on You’ve Got Mail.

DNF. Gave this about 75 pages. Was super interested in the concept but found it super distracting.

Audio. Sooo good, propulsive, interesting, clean

Tried this on audio - got 13% in but it’s not grabbing me at all. DNF for now.

Just started but this one is *so* not for my mental space right now. Run on rambling sentences and a sense of panicked franticness is not what works for me right now. Putting this aside for now.
