Finally getting back to this one.
I started this via audio and immediately decided I needed this physical book.

I'm loving this already. It makes me feel less shitty about my messes

I enjoyed the first book so I am continuing on the second book.

I'm saddened by the unhealthy relationship (re: twilight).
Rhys is awesome. (re: jacob in twilight?).
I hate making the twilight comparison but that is what comes to mind first for an intense paranormal romantic relationship that is controlling and unhealthy.

that being said, I am still enjoying this story and want to know what happens

recommended via FB peeps when I said I was looking for a Gillian Flynn type book.

I know this one is going to be hard. But it is important.

uuuugh so many feels. I was not emotionally prepared for this. I somehow missed the first part of the description of the book with the sisters death. Yes, it is right out of the gate but I am not sure if I just thought this would be all after that and about a journey...who knows. Had I paid better attention to the synopsis, I think I would have saved this until after my period emotions are done.

did I read that she wrote this at 18? wow. I just love the sentence construction and word choices. This may not be my fav but I can def appreciate the writing.

Ahh I forgot this is an epistolary novel.

sigh...I really like the idea of a haunted library. It combines 2 things I like, the paranormal and libraries!
However, the protag is immature. She's dating this dude that owns this ginormous house and the cottage she is renting.
They get into these tiffs and she acts like she is freakin 12 and is so annoying.
laaaaame.

this will be a tough one. we'll see how far I get. I'm already cringing at it.

oh my goodness! I love her even more. I can feel this. We share a love of the dramatic. Her screaming and fits. omg I love it. (listening via audio = 100% worth it)
