I have once again lost my mind. Sooo good. 100/10.

I had a blast, honestly. But I can see why it's not everyone's cup of tea. I'm a big fan of the worldbuilding, but it definitely overshadowed actual fight scenes and furthering of the plot. I'm not mad, but I get why others would be. The characters were ok, nothing ground breaking and only kind of compelling. The last 2-3 chapters were the worst. Seemed rushed. The big bad was introduced and defeated so quickly.

Super fun. Love the way stuff just happens and with minimal explanation because yeah, if this is accepted and understood by the characters involved why would they waste time explaining it? Love the way the gods are portrayed. All in all, having a great time

Very interesting start. I appreciate a book that tosses you into the story. Much better than boring exposition. Loved the scene with the old woman and the fishing girl. Very fun.

Not a fan of the ending. Felt rushed and contrived. Disappointing conclusion to what was otherwise a pretty interesting read.

Finally starting to connect with the characters. Those tragic backstories hit hard.

Fun descriptions of magic. Just vauge enough to be really interesting. No characters stand out yet, though.
