I’ve lived 30 years and have yet to read this. I’m genuinely irritated with myself about the fact that I’ve waited. This has become a real fascination in my mind since everything that has been going on in America. I was genuinely terrified to start reading this. I reread the first 5 pages 3 times in a row before continuing

This is a pretty fast paced book but I think it’s meant to be for what is going to come. So far the character development of the main character is interesting. But I also feel like I haven’t gotten a real feel of her yet. I don’t quite enjoy that the final girl stories do follow stories of actual horror films though.

Oh how things have taken such a turn! I thought she was a vampire but she’s a parasite. It’s like a bog body with a soul still. Poor Lucy has to deal with possibly needing to be a murderer to keep her sister “alive”. Idek what side I’m on. Is it Sarah or not?! Will Lucy kill someone for her? Wtf is going on?

This is probably one of the most morbid, gory, detailed books I’ve ever read. It’s perfect for spooky season. I don’t wanna put it down but I can only handle reading it for so long until I feel nauseous 😂

I cannot stop thinking of Damon from Vampire Diaries as Rhysand and Stefan as Tamlin😂😂 Currently I’m obsessed with this book (as is everyone else in the world) Sarah never fails to been the queen of world building (sorry J.K. Rowling). It’s such a big book but I’m flying through this shit because the way Sarah rights is so smooth I feel like I’m watching tv.

I can’t stop thinking about Ledger being Roy Kent from Ted Lasso & Kenna being Hannah Baker from 13 Reasons Why. Like that’s all I see when I read this is them playing these roles. I cried when Kenna just barely missed meeting her daughter for the first time ever in her life after having her..I can’t imagine my daughter being taken from my stomach and never seen again…

We are getting towards the end and I am loving it more and more. The only thing I would say that was a let down for me is finding out everything about the “Blight” in the midst of 4 pages was a little too fast for me. I wish it was split up a little bit more. I understand she was glamoured and may have been impossible to tell her the truth but there should’ve been more separation for that.

I completely forgot how Sarah J Mass wrote Feyre to be the literal complete opposite of Belle and Tamlin to be the complete opposite of Beast. Tamlin has the traits of Belle and Feyre has the traits of Beast. Yet she found a way to make it so Tamlin is actually teaching Feyre to be less animalistic and more humane. Her writing is so extraordinary!

Amazing world building! The transition from Mortal Land to Prythian was very smooth and genius! It shows Tamlin and Feyre’s characteristics fully. They are already such well rounded characters from the very start.

Intro is very well written and the character development is picking up super fast. I can tell our main character, Rachel, has quite the amount of red flags. I love a main character with actual problems and an awkward personality!

The amount of sh*t Jeanette has had to deal with up to her mothers death and after is just insane. I’m reading it and I keep getting so sucked in that I forget this is a true story for Jeanette. Everyone should be ashamed to have treated her the way they did, all of them.

Watching Atlas and Lily’s growth from the first book to now is such a beautiful journey. Their love is so innocent and pure, something we all look for in our own lives. There are some lines that really stick with you in this and we can all relate to. It’s so good to finally see Atlas’s reactions to her journal entries as well! So many things are happening that us readers wanted from book one!

I honestly feel like I’m watching the sequel to The Nightmare Before Christmas. I love the fact that Sally is going through each door on her own journey trying to find a way to save Halloween Town. I am so engulfed by this plot and I am LOVING it! 😍

I’m so happy I’m finally getting more to Jack and Sally’s story together as a couple. Currently loving it! It is so cute and the writing style definitely reminds me of the movie!

I am already hooked to this book! I don’t even like dark romance or any kind of romance but there is something about Coleen Hoover’s writing that is so intriguing. I am hung on every word and everything is blending together so well with these two main characters. I cannot wait to see how this plays out!

“Houses are just like bodies. Where there is no spark, no live force to fill them with warmth, they’re just vessels.”

This was by far once of the best sections of the book I have read so far. Her writing is so beautifully morbid and relatable at times.

This plot is just getting more and more interesting. I feel so bad for Rita because the ghosts are refusing to leave her alone at this point and she just wants to take photos of crime scenes in as much peace as possible. She seems to never catch a break from her job to her personal life to her family life. I hope she finds a way to quiet the voices soon.

What an interesting book! I am already hooked on the main character so much because she is so abstract and her power to see and speak with the ghosts of the crime scenes she takes photos of. I’m loving Ramona’s writing style because it keeps me wanting more. I’m usually not a fan of flashbacks but with this book, it works so well. I want to know more about Rita’s childhood!

The series is finally starting to grow so much more world building and it’s like I dive into this universe everytime I open the book. I feel like these characters are now my best friends and I’m just rooting for them hoping that everything turns out okay. Sophie is getting stronger and stronger which is such an awesome things to finally see. Only took 2 1/2 books to get her this far hahah!

Currently LOVING this book so much more than the first one. I love the new setting and the new characters and the new challenges she is facing. The way the author is tying in the past events to the current events. While reading this, I am seeing it take shape in my mind and I’m getting hardcore Skins UK modernized demon style but a little more PC. I hope the pace stays this way!

Just started but haven’t gotten far! I love how they recapped the first book in this one! Also I believe this was a great intro for Sophie’s father as well. It’s good to see and author putting a close to the previous book and how she transitioned to the new chapter in Sophie’s life. Very smooth!

This book is definitely getting more intense by each chapter. I was wondering why it’s considered a thriller but I think I’m starting to understand that it is because of the regular moments in life slowly going downhill and how fast things change around you. But there is some dark shit going on in this neighborhood. I love the dynamic between Sydney and Theo now. They’re really getting to know each other!
