Gosh I hate this stupid book

This book really could have been broken up into 2. It is unnecessarily long and part 1 and part 2 feel like two different books.

Emmy is the Worst. Cop. Ever. Worst friend, worst niece, worst daughter. I'm so annoyed right now. If a cop was ever this emotional or made this many missteps or ignored so many people and things, they'd be fired. I'll keep plugging along..

Good book but so many characters and so many moving parts. Some of the story lines were not explained well and could have been left out. The ending was somewhat anticlimactic

DNF I couldn't do it

So far I'm super annoyed that not a single member of law enforcement finds what is going on worthy of investigation. So far this is incredibly unrealistic bordering on stupid.

I'm 72% of the way through and all I can think is how this supposedly great husband and father was a brutal rapist and murderer a few years ago. So incredibly unrealistic. I'm really angry right now. I despise the character Tate and I despise his wife for wanting to support him. I need to read books with stronger female characters. So far, this ain't it.

It was a really good book with a lot of twists and turns BUT the main character was SOOOO INCREDIBLY ANNOYING blaming everyone and getting it so loud and wrong so many times. She was just too much. 3.75 stars

DNF. Took wayyyyyyyyyy too long to get to the point. It could have been SO MUCH SHORTER

Okay the last 20% redeemed the 80% that was awful. Decent story, awful execution, good ending.

Okay NOWWW @ 83% it's finally getting interesting!!! It's finally twisting in the direction I needed it to.

OMG I'm going to see this one through but this is BY FAR THE WORST book I've ever read. There's not a single likable character. Every decision made is stupid and unrealistic. The bullying narrative sounds like it was written by someone who has never actually stepped into a school. Everything about this book is bottom of the barrel. Such a disappointment.
