This is such an interesting idea, giving the voice of the country's individual citizens and experiences from their own letters to family and friends. Each person's experiences bring a deeper understanding of the tragic events. This book can be read from cover to cover, but I find myself reading more about specific individuals and their stories.

Ditched the book after 200 pages. I liked the overall premise but overall I just knew I wanted to read something that truly grabbed my attention.

Wow! wow...There are so many twist and turns and double delux loopty-loops to this book, it will leave you wanting another TJR book right away. I'm a Newbie to her writing, and you KNOW there are ALL of her books in my "Want To Read" pile. { Smile }
