I am loving the perspective of this book! I totally dig it! This one I think my mom would enjoy, too.

I will be glad when this book is finished. These long-winded sentences are boring me to death.

Someone told me this play was very funny. I thought I would really like it as I thoroughly enjoyed "The Man Who Came to Dinner", but I am really not finding this play funny AT ALL so far. I'm about 1/2 way through. We'll see how the rest of this goes.

I'm loving this book so far! My favorite quote from the chapter I just finished? "Some Baptists must've called and told on us." :)

I'm very surprised at how blunt this book is so far... I guess I was duped into thinking the story had a more fluffy quality since it was made into a musical and I love the stage version so much. No, all of the characters in the book are good people, but they all have a grit to them that you don't see in the show. I'm interested to see what happens as I finish the story...

I am really, really loving learning about this devil-may-care lady! I'm looking forward to reading her autobiography and also watching some of her films!

I'm loving learning more about the life of this intriguing lady! It seems that her success was largely due to her blessed good looks and her sensual personality instead of her acting talent... It's kind of depressing if you think about it, but it's still an interesting read to see what can happen when you're born beautiful. ;) We'll see if that's my final analysis later - I've still got half of the book to read!

I am VERY much loving this book so far! It gives you just enough to keep you hanging on the edge of your seat about what is going to happen next. Secrets, secrets, secrets in the middle of nowhere hidden by two people from somewhere.... :)

I'll be so glad to finish this book. When selecting a book about witch trials, one might think the book will be interesting and exciting - even shocking! But this book is boring, boring, boring. The author plods through every single country with any witch trials at all and specifically lists facts upon facts of what happened. Should've known when I saw the author was a history professor....

Reading this as backstory and additional information since I'm playing "Elizabeth Proctor" in THE CRUCIBLE. So far I haven't learned anything I didn't already know, but I still have 200+ pages to go!
