god dammit, this is really good XD

WHAT IS HAPPENING

I've read this entire book with my eyes bulging out of my head, this is scratching such a good itch

i'm not getting scared because Macy's internal monolgue is too loud. Imaginary Jemma's interjections are interrupting my own, or breaking what could be good suspense. I'm only continuing reading because the story itself and whatever idiotic outcome that's going to happen has me curious.

I’m invested but the writing style is grating, repetitive, and in need to a good trimming down.

The writing style is very, very modern. Conversational almost. Not sure if i like it… hmmmmm

Aaaah tragic youth lesbian love :(

coworker rec! excited to see where this goes :3

Love that at the end of the day, John is just a power hungry and controlling man.

God the speeches of love will always move me to tears. Pyrrha will always move me to tears. I do love this book.

I’m having less feelings about this book than I was about Harrow because i loved the first read through of this ons. Still stunning work

I think I was not actually reading this last time. I found this last bit so muddying, but this time it's extremely clear. I think I've cried 3-4 times in the last hundred pages? Jod is truly the terror of my dreams and I wish him all the horrors in the world and going off this book alone, I cannot imagine this series will end happily. So excited for Nona!!

I think i'm just immediately going to dive into Nona after this

I am losing my fucking mindddd how did i think this was bad. my wife is receiving my unhinged texts. Pyrrha kissed a corpse and I'm ok with it. I am so obsessed

Anastasia said “kill me” Jod said “let me drink you dry”

finally to mercymorn, my girl, my bestie, my fav of all favs UGH

Finally ready to tackle the reread 🫡

Savannah has effectively ruined the enjoyment i had of this book. I love an unlikable woman, but she’s just a nuisance and too hard of an effort to be edgy

Omg did Savannah kill Leila

Savannah suuuuucks.

i'm intrigued! a tongue with teeth in it? okieeeeee

I think I’m going to be thinking about Some Desperate Glory for a while…

I’m crying too much over this book i love it

Let’s talk about the sexism behind all the sentiments of “i hate Kyr” (the female mc) and the minimal to none of “i hate Avi” (a dipshitted boy mc)

ah okay there she goes

i can't wait for Kyr to piss me off. she's unbearable atm but she mostly makes me sad.
