Shallow. Who's the target audience, middle-schoolers?

Boathouse.  It reminds me of Philip Glass.  The minimalist composer Philip Glass.  The book reminds me of Philip Glass, the mininalist composer.  The minimalist composer Philip Glass wrote repetitive music.  His repetitive music repeats much the way Boathouse repeats.  So the book Boathouse reminds me, as I read it, of Philip Glass.
