Going to DNF. I loved this book all those years ago when I first read it but it isn't hitting the same this time arounds. Still love this book just dont want to tarnish my memory of it so for now I am putting it down.

Sobbing 😭

I like this so far. It is very much the brutal, Viking setting that I was expecting. I think it might have been worth learning a little more about this time before going into this book, though. Some of these words are a total mystery to me

This book is amazing. Everytime I pick it up something huge is happening. I have taken forever to get through this book because I really just never want it to end!

What! The! Hell! I'm crying!

The names of people and places have finally clicked, and I am loving this story and the writing style. Can't wait to see where this goes!

This is most definitely a fantasy. The sheer number of names I need to remember. People, places, things! I'm in for it, just waiting for that click moment that comes every fantasy novel (hopefully) where it all falls into place and starts making sense.

I'm really enjoying this book so far. It's written in a different tense than I'm used to, which isn’t a bad thing—it’s just making it a bit harder to find my reading rhythm.
