Well-researched and written book. I did not know much about Elizabeth besides the death of her husband Jim and that she had written some widely read books. The reader will see more of her personal life opposed to her public image.

This book has not disappointed me at all. It does what it says, it provides “help and hope for those ministering in small places”. The writing is like having a cup of coffee with another pastor which I appreciate as well.

This book is not for the “normal” pastor. There is some practical things in it for every pastor, yet so much is for BIG church pastors with a large staff. It would also be helpful to know it’s a book to read months before starting.
