dude i don’t speak carribisian 🫩

guess who has to read this in two days🫩🫩

rf kuang i love u this is fireee

this is the most intellectually challenging thing i’ve done in like a month BEARRR W ME

guys.

slow progress bc i unironically forgot i was reading this. i’m immersed in so may different images im lost but it feels so purposefully constructed the more i read so i kinda love it!

rereading bc this was so fantastic when i read it this summer!

dense but good + will finish on commute tmrw morning

dense but good!

guys i finished it but i need time to process bc 😦😦😦🥹🥹🥹

100 pages left i can see the end but i wanna stroll there this is too good to rush

wow.

ten chapters in and i already feel changed by this book. stories within stories and steinbeck’s pen was on FLAMES with some of these descriptions- so beautifully crafted! racism within the first chapter was crazy but it’s become more ignorable now

I can't WAIT for my life to be changed pls I need the transformative powers of a good book right now

this is making me feel good

i will be finished this tonight but WOWWWWW

lowkey most optimistic book i’ve read in a while i’m enjoying this

finished but i need time to mentally process before review bc wow.

emotionally draining so progress has been TOUGH but hoping to finish this week!

it feels like i fell into an alternate universe and imagined all of this im finding this hilarious so far

so who was going to tell me human life literally started in africa and that white people only emerged centuries later…

I feel like I genuinely know nothing and this book is so accessible that i can still feel like i get it!!
