DNF, although this was a good one and I was so glad that it exists. I learned a lot about different organizations within Kansas that serve LGBTQ students. This is definitely a dense book though. Will probably pick it up again in the future.

Excellent and timely. This story gives a chance to talk about challenges of racism, fitting in, and poverty in an empathetic way.

DNF--Not a bad story idea, but I just couldn't get into the characters.

This audiobook narration is just perfect.

As Wenar (author of Blood Oil) describes the present situation, "Consumers buy stolen goods everyday" because the raw materials in products from gasoline to cell phones have been taken "sometimes by stealth, sometimes by force" from the poorest people in the world. --p.114

So while the "storying" of reality risks making reality hegemonic, great stories reopen it for new questioning.
