A pleasant surprise

A re-read for book club. Although Warrior Girl, Unearthed doesn’t have quite the same storytelling power I think Firekeeper’s Daughter has, this is still a fantastic read and beautiful insight into Ojibwe culture. It introduces readers to cultural battles that tribes all over the country face. Highly recommend.

I couldn’t finish. The lack of punctuation for the dialogue was too distracting.

DNF. A third of the way through and the story just isn’t going anywhere. I’m bored.
